Change Default Values of your Exported Survey Responses

We have just launched an update that will allow you to change the default values in your exported survey responses. For example, by default, if a user selected answer “Yes”, you will find “Yes” in the Excel export. This update will allow you to override the exported value for closed question types. For example, you can override “Yes” to become “1” and “No” to become “0”, etc.

This allows you to format your exported data exactly how you need it. You can set up your custom export values even before you have collected any responses, meaning, when the responses do start to come in, your exported values are already the way you need them.

We are happy to include this feature for you and think it is yet another great step forward in allowing you to customize SurveyHero to suit your needs.

White Label: Conduct Surveys with your Own Domain and Styles

We have just launched the ability for you to make your online surveys completely white labeled. This means you can create and share surveys using our tool, but from a participant’s point of view, it will look like the survey originated from you, as there will be no mention of SurveyHero anywhere!

You will be able to set up your own domain to be used for surveys instead of ours. A regular survey link might look like this:

With our White Label feature, however, you can use your own domain, e.g. survey.mycompany.com. This would make the above example look like this:

As well as a using your own domain name, you will be able to create a custom theme to apply your personal or corporate brand to the survey. Even better still, we recently launched the ability for your web-team to further style your questionnaire using CSS.

Organize your Online Surveys with Labels

We have just launched the ability for you to organize your surveys into categories using labels. Like “folders”, this lets you group your surveys into different categories, allowing you to tidy up your workspace, in case that you have many different surveys.

Unlike working with folders, you can assign multiple labels to one single survey. For example, you may want to label your “template” surveys with the “Template” label but also with the “Work” label. This makes it even easier to find the survey you are looking for. You can create as many labels as you need.

We think this is a really flexible way for you to organize your surveys and hope you find it as useful as we do!
